What is included in the ticket price? [+] See Answer
Main Stage and Fireside Dinner & Show tickets include: an inclusive entree from our menu, the show, and tax. Preview our menu to see what is included with each entree.
Items available at an additional cost are: appetizers, specialty beverages, cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks, entree upgrades, desserts, and gratuity. (Gratuity is included for groups of 12 or more.)
Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret tickets are Show Only and do not include a meal. A grill menu with bar service are available at additional cost.
How far in advance can I make reservations? [+] See Answer
Groups of 12+ may reserve tickets for any advance date by contacting our

Tickets for parties of 11 or fewer are available for phone pre-sale as soon as the show title is announced. Call the box office at 952-934-1525 or 800-362-3515.

Can you hold seats for me? [+] See Answer
Unfortunately, seats cannot be held without payment. Please have all information at hand when ordering as there are no refunds.
What is your cancellation/exchange policy? [+] See Answer
Tickets are not refundable. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will happily exchange dates on your reservation with a minimum of three days advance notice. In the case of severe weather, when travel is not advised, tickets may be exchanged for an alternate date. Ticket exchanges are subject to a fee. Check with the box office.

We accept: cash, check, debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Diners.
What is your cigarette smoking policy? [+] See Answer
To comply with Minnesota State Law, smoking is not permitted within the theatre complex. Cigarette smoking is permitted on our north outdoor patio.
Is your building handicap accessible? [+] See Answer
Handicapped parking and ramps will ease your arrival to our theatre complex. We offer wheelchair seating in each of our theatres. Be sure to mention the need for wheelchair seating when calling the box office for ticket reservations. At this time, wheelchair seating cannot be reserved during an online ticket purchase.
How can I be contacted in the case of an emergency while at the theatre? [+] See Answer
A paging system is only used in the case of an emergency theatre evacuation. Please leave the following phone number for your babysitter: 952-934-1570 and be sure to give your babysitter your play title, seat number, and the name on your ticket reservation.
What is the latest time to arrive for lunch or dinner? [+] See Answer
To guarantee relaxed dining, we recommend you arrive for lunch/dinner no later than thirty minutes after the doors open.
What is your policy on cell phones in the theatre? [+] See Answer
Texting during a performance or a ringing cell phone is a distraction for audience members and performers. If you bring a cell phone into the theatre, please turn it off before the performance begins. If you must use your phone at intermission, remember to turn it off before re-entering the theatre.
Do you have an ATM in the building? [+] See Answer
Yes, we have one Automated Teller Machine located in the lobby near the Box Office for your convenience.
What if I'm celebrating a special occasion? [+] See Answer
Birthdays and anniversaries are made special at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. We currently offer four luxury packages: Celebration, Mini-Sweetheart, Sweetheart, and Dedication. When added to your ticket purchase, these packages make everything easy for you and special for the one you are treating. Be sure to ask about packages for special occasions when you call our box office. These items are available at an additional cost to your ticket purchase. For more details,
click here. Champagne and birthday cakes (large or small) can be pre-ordered through the box office. Our tuxedoed greeter will be happy to announce your occasion from the stage
if requested in advance through the box office. You can also order flowers to be pre-set at your table from any florist (Chanhassen Floral 952-949-2742).
What is your policy on cameras in the theatre? [+] See Answer
To comply with strict union regulations, the use of cameras, recording equipment, and picture cell phones are strictly prohibited during performances. You may take pictures at your table prior to the performance.
How may I purchase a Gift Certificate? [+] See Answer
Gift Certificates make wonderful gifts for everyone on your shopping list. They can be conveniently ordered online (where you have an option of actually printing the certificate directly onto your computer's printer), over the telephone, or at our box office.

How do I redeem a Gift Certificate? [+] See Answer
Call our box office to place your ticket order. Be sure to have your Gift Certificate available. We will need the numbers and the dollar amount from the certificate when you place your order. And keep in mind that your Gift Certificate is valid forever, regardless of any printed expiration date.
May I bring my infant? [+] See Answer
In general, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres welcomes children ages five and above. Some productions may not be suitable for young children. If you are unsure, please ask the ticket reservationist. Babes in arms are not permitted in the theatres.
Do you have children's discounts? [+] See Answer
Discounts are available for children aged 5 to 17 for selected performances when accompanied by an adult. Please ask the reservationist when ordering tickets.
Do you have offers for senior citizens? [+] See Answer
Discounts are available for seniors age 60+ for selected performances. Please ask your reservationist. Discounts are not available for matinee performances.
Do you offer signed (ASL) or Audio Described (AD) performances? [+] See Answer
Signed (ASL) and Audio Described (AD) services are available for specific Main Stage and Fireside performances. Patrons seeking a Signed or Audio Described service should contact the box office for performance dates and proper seating location.

Ample parking is available on site, and it's free! Overnight parking is available upon request.
Is there bus service to the dinner theatre? [+] See Answer
There is no bus service to Chanhassen to accommodate our show times.
Are Show Only tickets available? [+] See Answer
Show Only tickets may be reserved no earlier than ten days prior to a Main Stage or Fireside Theatre performance date, based upon availability. Just call the box office. All tickets for Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret in the Playhouse Theatre are Show Only.
What if I have a special dietary need? [+] See Answer
If you or someone in your party has a special dietary request or concern, please bring it to the attention of your reservationist when you place your ticket order. Chanhassen offers vegetarian and gluten free options. Simply ask your server.
Do you have a dress code? [+] See Answer
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres does not have a dress code. However, most people dress up -- some more than others. We want our guests to be comfortable, but generally, you will not see guests wearing shorts, tennis shoes, or blue jeans.
How do I print an online purchase at home? [+] See Answer
If you chose "Download Tickets":
1. After you have submitted your ticket or gift certificate purchase, click on the "Download Tickets" button.
2. Click "Open" to open a PDF attachment.
3. In the PDF, each ticket will be its own page; if you ordered 4 tickets you'll have 4 pages that will print out, likewise for Gift Certificates.
4. With the PDF document open, you may choose "print" from the File menu at the top of the page.
5. Bring these sheets to the theatre on the day of your performance. These will serve as your admission to the production. The recipient of your Gift Certificate may redeem it by calling the box office or coming to the theatre to make a reservation.

If you chose "Print At Home":
1. After you have submitted your ticket or gift certificate purchase, you will automatically receive an email to the address you supplied when setting up your online account.
2. Within 15-30 minutes an email message will be sent to you. (Please make sure you have given us a valid email address.) The "From" name will be "tickets@chanhassentheatres.com." The Subject line will read "Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Purchase."
3. The email will include a PDF attachment either in the body of the message or at the very bottom, depending on your type of mailbox (i.e. Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo...)
4. Double click to open the PDF attachment and view your ticket(s) or Gift Certificate(s). Each ticket will be its own page; if you ordered 4 tickets you'll have 4 pages that will print out, likewise for Gift Certificates.
5. With the PDF document open, you may click on the "print" icon in your email toolbar (at the top of the page) or choose "print" from the File menu at the top of the page.
6. Bring these sheets to the theatre on the day of your performance. These will serve as your admission to the production. The recipient of your Gift Certificate may redeem it by calling the box office or coming to the theatre to make a reservation.

Do you have information on auditions for CDT productions? [+] See Answer
Chanhassen is a fully-professional theatre, and most actors are members of Actors' Equity, the actors' union. Auditions for Chanhassen Dinner Theatres are held several months prior to each production opening. Audition notice is given on our
website. Additional notices are posted locally on www.minnesotaplaylist.com, in the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper found in section 550 of the classifieds or online at www.startribune.com. If you are from out-of-town, you may send a picture and resume to:
