Performance Training
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is thrilled to offer the popular theatre PERFORMANCE TRAINING classes. Michelle Barber, director of First Act Theatre Camp for Kids, launched this training for people serious about going into the theatre business, wanting to hone existing theatre skills or audition techniques or even for the business professional looking to be less shy in public speaking situations.
Students should know Performance Training is designed for truly serious students as opposed to our First Act Camp, which is geared toward kids looking for a fun summertime theatre camp experience. Training classes will include songs and scene work from Musical Theatre, Pop, and Opera. Dance techniques will be included. Students will also work through the theatre audition process.
"It has given me A LOT more self confidence."
"[Performance Training] challenged me to move beyond my phobias."
"This class has given me more insight as to how to develop a character."
