Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is proud to be one of the few dinner theatres in the nation providing wait staff-served dinners to all guests.
Appetizer Menu
Many guests choose to order appetizers, wine, cocktails, or dessert to accompany their dinner. Start off with one of Chanhassen's specialty appetizers, which are available at an additional cost:
- Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
- Jumbo shrimp served with cocktail sauce and lemon.
- Soup of the Day
- Ask your server for today's selection.
- Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
- Mozzarella cheese lightly breaded and deep fried to a golden brown, served with marinara sauce.
- Walleye Fingers
- Strips of walleye, breaded and deep fried to a golden brown and served with tartar sauce.
- Potato Bites
- A tasty petite half potato skin stuffed with bacon, artichoke and cream cheese. Topped with shredded Cheddar cheese.
- The Chan Sampler
- Our famous in-house sampler includes: Potato Bites, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Coconut Shrimp flavored with a Malibu Rum sauce.
- Vegetable Spring Rolls
- A mixture of fresh vegetables and authentic Asian spices wrapped in our traditional egg roll wrapper. Served with sweet & sour sauce.
- Coconut Shrimp
- Butterflied shrimp marinated in Malibu Coconut Rum and coconut milk, rolled in bread crumbs and coconut flakes, and deep-fried until golden brown.
- Fruit & Cheese Assortment
- Cheddar, Brie, fresh seasonal fruits, Spanikopita, and a taster of warm Artichoke Dip make for a great start to your meal.
- Hot Artichoke Dip
- Our own blend of marinated artichoke hearts and cheeses, served hot with ciabatta bread.
Dinner Menu
All entrées are served with our own freshly baked rolls and butter, crisp garden salad with your choice of House Ranch, Lite French, or Bleu Cheese dressing, and steamed vegetables, unless noted.
Your ticket price includes a choice of one of the following:
- Fresh Spinach Salad
- Garden fresh spinach topped with a broiled chicken breast, craisins, crumbled bleu cheese, toasted slivered almonds and slices of pears. Served with a maple vinaigrette dressing. Comes with a fresh fruit starter.
- Chicken Chanhassen
- A boneless chicken breast stuffed with Minnesota wild rice dressing, baked to a golden brown and topped with Hollandaise sauce.
- 42nd Street Pasta Special
- A hearty pasta tossed in a garlic, olive oil, white wine sauce. Served with chicken and broccoli.
- Broiled Pork Chop
- A center cut boneless pork chop, broiled and served with oven-roasted baby red potatoes and a side of apple sauce.
- Orange Roughy
- A delicious white fish topped with sliced almonds, broiled with butter, and served with Minnesota wild rice pilaf.
- Top Sirloin
- Aged choice top sirloin steak broiled medium-rare, medium or medium-well and served with oven-roasted baby red potatoes. Add sauteed Mushrooms to your Steak or Broiled Lemon Pepper Shrimp for an extra charge.
The following are available for an additional amount.
- Prime Rib
- Slow-roasted choice prime rib au jus served medium-rare, medium, or medium-well with oven-roasted baby red potatoes.
- Daily Special
- Place your order early for this limited quantity entree prepared daily by our chefs and described by your server.
Vegetarian entrees include Veggie Lasagna, Chanhassen Teriyaki Vegetables, Veggie Steak, or Steamed Vegetables. A children's menu is available upon request.

Matinee Menu
All matinee entrées are served with our own freshly baked rolls, fresh butter and steamed vegetables, unless noted.
Ticket price includes a choice of one of the following:
- Fresh Spinach Salad
- Garden fresh spinach topped with a broiled chicken breast, craisins, crumbled bleu cheese, toasted slivered almonds and sliced pears. Served with a maple vinaigrette dressing. Comes with a fresh fruit starter.
- Lemon Peppered Tilapia
- A light mild tasting filet topped with lemon and black pepper, broiled with butter and served with Minnesota wild rice pilaf.
- Chimichanga
- Seasoned beef, onions, and cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla, topped with chipotle pepper sauce. It is served with Spanish rice, salsa, sour crem and guacamole.
- 42nd Street Pasta Special
- A hearty pasta tossed in a garlic, olive oil, and white wine sauce. Served with chicken and broccoli.
- Chicken Chanhassen
- A boneless chicken breast stuffed with Minnesota wild rice dressing, baked to a golden brown, and topped with Hollandaise sauce.
- The West 78th Street Grilled Chicken Breast
- A grilled chicken breast with Swiss and cheddar cheeses, topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty barbecue mayonnaise sauce. Served on a ciabatta bun with French fries.
- Chicken Tenders
- Chicken tenders lightly breaded and deep fried to a golden brown, served with French fries and ranch dressing.
The following is available for an additional amount.
- Top Sirloin
- Aged choice top sirloin steak broiled medium-rare, medium, or medium-well and served with oven-roasted baby red potatoes. Add sauteed Mushrooms to your Steak or Broiled Lemon Pepper Shrimp for an extra charge.

- Our own freshly baked apple pie, served with vanilla ice cream.
- Hot Fudge Cake Sundae
- French vanilla ice cream on homemade chocolate cake smothered with hot fudge, chopped nuts and whipped cream.
- Shuffle Off To Buffalo Cheesecake
- A traditional New York style cheesecake rests atop a graham cracker butter crust with strawberry topping.
- Chanhassen Ice Cream Pie
- Made fresh in our kitchen! Ask your server for today's special flavor.
- Gourmet Turtle Cheesecake
- New York style cheesecake atop a thick layer of fudge, covered with caramel and pecans.
- Raspberry Bread Pudding
- Traditional custard-based bread pudding swirled with raspberries and served warm with our famous whiskey sauce.
- Gourmet Chocolate Turtle Cake
- Three layers of moist chocolate cake filled with luscious caramel cream mousse and covered with chocolate butter icing. Oozing with chocolate and caramel, the topping of this cake is decorated with chocolate curls and pecan halves.
- Mountain Berry Cream Flan
- A marvelous mixture of blackberries, blueberries and raspberries atop a silky custard filling lightly dusted with powdered sugar.
- Gourmet Carrot Cake (for two)
- Four layers of rich, moist carrot cake filled and iced with real cream cheese frosting and garnished with pecans.
- Towering Chocolate Cake (for two)
- A chocolate lover's delight for two! Four layers of rich, deep chocolate butter cake with creamy chocolate frosting.
- Delectable Ice Cream and Coffee Beverages
- Enjoy our deliciously rich flavored coffees and smooth ice cream beverages. Our Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, and Espresso can be served plain or flavored with non-alcoholic Amaretto, French Vanilla, or Irish Cream!
